RENOVATION of a PROMINENT CALIFORNIA HISTORICAL LANDMARK
1979 - Carving detail (below) restored by ARCHITECTURAL ARTISANS during the rennovation of the 1842 Workman Homestead in Industry, CA. In 1872 William Workman remodeled the homestead to resemble an English manor house (above). In 1979, under the direction of prominent architect Ray Girvigian, all carvings and architectural detail were restored to their 1872 grandeur. (California historical landmark #874)
